Is skin peeling real peeling?
Although green peeling uses organic materials, the skin is actually exfoliated through it. It is normal to feel hot on the face after the session, and the face becomes red for several days, so it is important to take care of the skin after doing a green peeling
session.
What are the recommendations after green peeling session?
We work at the Excellage Clinic to educate patients, and recommend the most important procedures to be followed after a green peeling session, including:
- Avoid sun exposure without sunscreen for the next several weeks
- Avoid exposing the skin to cosmetics to avoid infection
- Dry the skin completely and avoid the use of chemicals for at least a week
- We may sometimes ask to use antibiotic creams
- Peeled skin requires restorative and moisturizing care after the procedure
What are the stages of green peeling?
Green peeling consists of 3 stages:
- The first stage: cleaning and sterilizing the skin: to avoid skin infection
- The second stage: applying the green scrub: it contains organic ingredients that are highly effective in removing the surface layer of the skin. The mask is applied for 10 minutes.
- The third stage: pressure with compresses: pressure is applied to the skin for 20 minutes, making sure that the skin absorbs all the elements, after which a moisturizer is applied to the skin.
